Kimberly Morrison-Hansley

Former Executive Director
Kimberly Morrison-Hansley is the visionary founder of The Kaizen Foundation of North Carolina, a mission-driven organization advancing financial literacy, economic mobility, and long-term community resilience. A native of Union County, North Carolina, she brings more than 20 years of financial services experience and a lifelong commitment to expanding equitable access to financial education and resources.
A graduate of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a B.A. in Political Science and Sociology, Kimberly also founded T.U.T.O.R. Financial Counseling & Literacy Services, LLC, extending her impact across the Southeastern United States through financial coaching, literacy, and wealth-building strategies.
A Vision Rooted in Community
Since co-founding Kaizen in August 2021, Kimberly has led the organization’s growth into a trusted community resource focused on breaking generational cycles through education, strategic partnerships, and direct support services. Her leadership is grounded in intentional action, measurable impact, and the belief that real change happens when people are equipped with both knowledge and access.
For Kimberly, Kaizen is more than an organization—it is a movement dedicated to turning awareness into action, hope into opportunity, and financial literacy into lasting transformation.
