
Fanatics Match Day Volunteer Engagement
Volunteer With Kaizen at Charlotte FC Matches
Support The Kaizen Foundation of North Carolina while gaining hands-on experience in a high-energy, professional retail environment.
Through our partnership with Fanatics, volunteers assist with merchandise sales during designated Charlotte FC matches. Funds earned through each engagement directly support Kaizen’s financial education programs, counseling services, targeted assistance, and community initiatives.
Volunteers represent both Kaizen and Fanatics in a public, high-visibility environment. Reliability, professionalism, and excellent customer service are required.
Volunteer Responsibilities
Volunteers may be assigned to:

Assist customers with merchandise purchases

Process sales transactions
-
Complete beginning and ending inventory counts

Organize and restock merchandise
-
Maintain a clean and professional retail area

Follow instructions provided by the Fanatics Manager
Volunteer Requirements
Participants must:

Be at least 18 years old
-
Arrive by 4:30 PM
-
Remain until approximately 20 minutes after the match ends and the Fanatics Manager releases the team

Wear all-black attire, including black pants and comfortable shoes
-
Refrain from wearing blue jeans, hats, or sporting-team apparel
-
Refrain from consuming alcohol during working hours
-
Limit personal cell phone use to scheduled breaks

Follow all Kaizen, Fanatics, venue, safety, inventory, and customer-service procedures
Free parking is provided. Volunteers may also receive a 40% merchandise discount during the engagement, subject to Fanatics’ rules and availability.
Important Participation Information
This is an unpaid volunteer opportunity. Funds generated through the engagement are paid directly to The Kaizen Foundation of North Carolina.
Volunteers may not leave before being released by the Fanatics Manager. Failure to appear, arriving late, leaving early, or failing to follow engagement requirements may result in removal from future Fanatics volunteer opportunities.
Registration
Space is limited and advance registration is required.
Registration does not guarantee placement. Volunteers will receive confirmation after their registration and required documents have been reviewed.

Required Waivers and Forms
Volunteers may not participate until all required documents are completed and submitted.

These forms confirm that volunteers meet the age requirement, understand the risks associated with participation, agree to follow all event rules, and acknowledge applicable liability provisions.

This waiver combines Kaizen’s participation, attendance, conduct, assumption-of-risk, and general-liability acknowledgments. It does not replace the separate waiver provided or required by Fanatics. The document should be reviewed by legal counsel before it is published or used as the organization’s final legal form.
