"Working with The Kaizen Foundation has been a great experience for our students and for the NC Works NEXTGEN In-School Youth Program, powered by Charlotte Works, at Harding University High School.

Throughout the school year, Kaizen partnered with us to provide engaging workshops and student experiences that helped us connect not only with our program participants, but with students across the school. Together, we served more than 40 students, creating meaningful opportunities for them to explore life beyond high school while gaining access to valuable resources, career pathways, and post-secondary opportunities.

​

Students participated in sessions focused on financial literacy, life skills, career readiness, and post-secondary planning while building their professional networks through interactions with community partners and industry professionals. The workshops were interactive, relatable, and provided practical tools students can use as they prepare for life after graduation. They also gained exposure to volunteer and employment opportunities, helping them better understand the many pathways available after high school.

What we appreciate most is Kaizen's collaborative approach. They took the time to understand our students, and by working together, we expanded opportunities while providing experiences that complemented and strengthened the services offered through the NC Works NEXTGEN In-School Youth Program. Their professionalism, passion, and commitment to empowering young people have made a lasting impact on our students and the Harding University High School community.
